What the community learned and experienced
The Climate Owls participants at Rose Town Apartment learned that their monthly climate action meetings are leading by example, showing how seniors and multi-residential buildings dwellers play a critical role in building a low-carbon future in Richmond Hill.
Their work was recently shared with the Mayor and Council through the CARH monthly climate updates. The Climate Owls can inspire others and scale up the impacts!
Youth volunteers from the Ice Dragons supported seniors in resolving technology-related challenges, such as downloading and using mobile apps to enrich their daily lives.
The Ice Dragons used their impressive LEGO sets to engage seniors in creating a “Richmond Hill Legoland” together.
