Heat Pump Seminar
We hosted the seminar to inform the community of the great potential of heat pumps as a replacement of furnace and air conditioner to reduce carbon footprint while maintaining energy efficiency.
The event drew expertise from a panel of speakers from the governmental, private and non-governmental sectors. Residents, elected officials and environmental group leaders have greatly benefited from the seminar as well as the networking opportunities. One of the attendees, Elizabeth Liu, reported that she installed a heat pump in her Richmond Hill’s residence as a result of the seminar.
We are proud that our work has led to real changes for a low-carbon and resilient community! The seminar recordings and all resources are available for public access.
